Fern Films is an independent and full-service production company, led by founder and director Alex Wallace.
We create films and content for social-first campaigns, TVC’s and high-end content for brands and agencies.
We are not a big agency and we’re proud of that. Our roster of trusted directors, creatives and producers work across a variety of projects and budgets, but all with our unwavering dedication, creativity and craft. We are adaptable, scalable and diverse.
Our Impact
Fern Films are continually striving to be more mindful of the impact that our film productions have on our planet. How we act on this is ever-changing and we will endeavour to progress the things we are doing to give back to the planet, and not just take from it.

Trees for Life
The Trees for Life vision is of a revitalised wild forest in the Scottish Highlands, providing space for wildlife to flourish and communities to thrive. We purchased Fern Films Grove and have our first 5 trees, making a promise to add to this each year.

Sustainable Sets
We are committed to being as sustainable as possible on set. We encourage all attendees to bring their own re-usable water bottles, refrain from consuming single-use plastics, to access documents digitally and be mindful of making travel plans that are as green as possible. Our main vehicle is now 100% electric.
